Why study Fashion Design?

​

Fashion is the style of dressing that prevails among a group of persons which may last for a limited period of time. Fashion Design has become a means of expressing individuality and creating identities. Fashion leads the apparel industry by its very nature of changing constantly. Gina T Fashion Academy aims to develop young professionals having a creative flair for new and innovative styles of dressing while focusing on trend, lifestyle, market, and value.

Eligibility & Program Requirements

Entry into this program is determined by the GTFA Administration. The minimum requirement
to be admitted to this the academy includes a completed application, completed assessment
questions within the application, and a background reference check.  Additionally, a level of
passion for design, creative skills and level of interest in design will be assessed in determining
admittance into GTFA.

Scholarship Program

​

2-4 individuals will be selected annually to receive a scholarship for personal and
professional development. The scholarship will provide free education and training
for our two-year academic and work programs. The scholarship recipients must
commit to participating in the two-year program. If a recipient is unable to participate
for during this two-year period, the scholarship will be forfeited and the remaining
balance of unattended workshops must be paid to the academy and a replacement
recipient will be selected to complete the program
